The final day of our exhibition ‘Eye of the Lens’ brought a record turnout, closing the show on a real high. At its peak, around 100 visitors filled the space, with a small crowd gathered at the door waiting to hear the talks—a wonderful reflection of the energy and interest around the show.
We were delighted to welcome guest curator Mark Kermode, who gave an introductory talk, setting the scene for the afternoon. Julia Giles then introduced five artists, each sharing insight into their work and processes.
A special thanks goes to Julia for organising the talks so thoughtfully. This exhibition also marks her final show as chair, and we are incredibly grateful for her dedication, energy, and contribution to the Society.
