Tripptree is a multi-media artist currently working with ideas around ‘edges’ of the life cycle, and how accessing spirit we can find our unique gold. Her narratives are rooted in her sense making of the ‘human condition’ fuelled by her experiences as a nurse and a child protection social worker.

In 2025 she embarked on a very personal and profound life-changing experience. She was summoned to let go of all that she knew and walk with grace into uncertainty to walk alongside her brother in his end-of-life pilgrimage.

This other world compelled her into aloneness, inwardness, nature and wild places, where she found she was able to elevate her consciousness, connecting at a cellular level with both soul and spirit, asking to be held in unchartered territory.

Whilst entering this unfamiliar and the unseen she became contemplative, focused, still and dreamlike, open to a new energy – the sparking of a spiritual mystical wonder, igniting access to the non-physical where the birthing of the imbued objects was delivered, each one carefully stitched with thought, feeling, memory and emotion as a transformative process, unravelling and revealing the beauty of the pilgrimage.

Tripptree’s belief is that the spirit is distinct from the mortal body and to ignite its own unique energy it needs transformative energy. To enable the journey, she makes spiritually imbued objects, serving as anchors for focus, devotion and hopeful connection to unseen forces, grandeur of the universe and the divine.
