I keep painting, trying to find that elusive balance between description and mystery, inviting the viewer to make their own sense of often illogical narratives, disrupted conventions and happy accidents. My source material is the earth and plants around us, and further afield. I love deserts, and dry, hot places. Not quite sure how I ended up in Cornwall!

I have been working alongside the mining industry in recent years, on a project designed to minimise the environmental impacts of extraction. I am co-founder of Deep Earth Synergies, an arts hub which brings artists and mining professionals together to find creative solutions to the complexities of resourcing future generations.
