The inspiration for my work is Nature. The work is celebratory and is underpinned by an exploration of spiritual growth. I try to be wih and to to work with the energies of the Tai Chi Dance: masculine/feminine,hard/soft etc,The work is influenced by alchemy and reflects the vibrancy of life and the natural order of decay and death.It often combines natural and manmade/recycled materials, for example wood and bronze, and deals with the manifested/unmanifested, outer/inner ,stagnant/transformed. I hope the work is like poetry and unfolds and touches each person differently.
