NSA Autumn Exhibition 2026

This autumn, the Newlyn Society of Artists returns to the Penwith Gallery in St Ives, where the Society last exhibited in 2015.

The connection between the two societies, however, reaches much further back, with artists having held membership of both the NSA and Penwith over the years. This exhibition brings that shared history into the present, celebrating the continuing vitality of artists living and working in Cornwall.

Diversity and experimentation are at the heart of the exhibition, with painting, sculpture, drawing and moving image, spanning abstract and figurative approaches. With no single style or medium defining the show, the exhibition reflects the breadth and exploration that have always been central to the NSA.

The exhibition runs from 25 September to 24 October 2026 at the Penwith Gallery, St Ives.

We warmly invite you to join us for the opening event on Friday 25 September. Everyone is welcome, and we look forward to seeing you there.

A new chapter for the NSA

The Society is also entering an exciting new chapter, with Seamus Moran as our new Chair and a new committee now in place.

We are looking ahead to new opportunities for the Society, including new collaborations and venues, while continuing with our programme of two exhibitions each year.

We hope you’ll join us at the Penwith Gallery and discover the breadth and energy of work being made by NSA artists today.
