The NSA has teamed up with three galleries across the South West of Cornwall this winter; The Great Atlantic in Falmouth, The Rainyday in Penzance and Westotts Gallery in St Ives, hosting an exhibition of saleable works including painting and sculpture from the members of the Newlyn Society of Artists.

NSA: Double Vision 17 Oct 2009 - 9 Jan 2010

Double Vision presented a striking show with an exciting program of events and performances throughout the exhibition. The nine NSA members have worked with their partners to produced new work for the exhibition.  The show will included painting, drawing, sculpture, sound, performance and installations with a series of programmed events that ran the course of the show.

The Drawing Show 12 July - 15 September 2008

NSA: Drawing ShowSelected by Kate Macfarlane and Mary Doyle, Co-Directors of The Drawing Room in London.

This is the first NSA show in The Exchange, Penzance. The exhibition takes a broad interpretation of drawing, utilising a diverse range of media and scale, which will accommodate the breadth of artistic approach within the NSA.

Lineage 13 Oct - 9 Dec 2007

The legacy that members of the NSA have inherited has always been about real artistic endeavour , enquiring minds and a desire to push the boundaries of contemporary practice. To celebrate this lineage and further its traditions, current members have been invited to choose an aspect of the original Newlyn School and respond in a way that suits their particular practice.
