Painting has and I hope always will be a journey of change and exploration.. Alchemy comes to mind, trying to create something beautiful from combining   raw materials. At first its all experimentation but gradually it becomes part of your own language of painting.
Painting out in the landscape in Cornwall and in the Middle East is a great inspiration; the pure energy it gives you that you can transfer onto the canvas.
