Statement:
I find the simplest, overlooked object or surface compelling. By intimately focusing on subjects usually unobserved I transform them into abstract artworks that capture the imagination and reveal startling tactile qualities. The photographs create images outside of their context. They are lifted out of the banal and into something extraordinary.
