CV./Statement Bernard Evans,
Bernard Evans attended Camberwell School of Art
in the 50's and worked as a lecturer in Nottingham before coming to live
in Cornwall thirty years ago. With his wife Audrey, he ran the Mounts
Bay Art Centre from their house and studio in Newlyn.
He usually paints on site and works in oil and watercolour. His subject
matter is the life and landscape of West Cornwall. For the last five years
he has been painting a series of landscapes of central London based on
frequent visits to the capital, especially along the Thames from Westminister
to Canary Wharf.
